Short version
No accounts. No third-party analytics by default. Your uploaded video is processed in memory, written briefly to storage so you can download the patched copy, and deleted automatically after one hour. We don't look at your videos.
What we receive
- The MP4 file you upload (held for at most 1 hour).
- The patched output (held for at most 1 hour).
- Standard request metadata — IP address, user agent, timestamp — used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
- A per-request ID generated server-side, written to logs alongside structural metadata (file size, detected fps, error codes).
What we don't do
- We do not store video contents to long-term storage.
- We do not share files with third parties.
- We do not run third-party analytics, ads, or trackers in the default build of this site.
- We do not require an account or email address.
Storage
Files live on either local disk or an S3-compatible object store (configured per deployment). In either case a background sweeper deletes files older than the configured TTL (1 hour by default).
Logs
Server logs may retain request IDs, IP addresses, and structural file metadata for up to 30 days for operational purposes. They do not contain video bytes or original filenames.
Cookies
The Kayn Method sets no cookies in the default configuration.
